Stingray has launched Radio DashSync, a new adtech offering set to roll out across all 97 Stingray Radio stations over the next month that syncs text and brand logos on in-car dashboard displays.
Already live in Toronto on boom 97.3 (CHBM-FM) and New Country 93.5 (CFXJ-FM), Stingray becomes the first major Canadian broadcaster to offer such a solution.
Stingray says Radio DashSync enhances the power of radio by coupling visual messaging with audio ad content, giving advertisers the option to incorporate a custom message that automatically appears on the dashboard display.
According to data from a recent Quu study on visual radio ads, supplied by Stingray, the tech boosts key brand metrics, increasing purchase intent by 89%, brand favourability by 58%, and slogan familiarity by 57%.
“We are thrilled to be at the forefront of audio innovation in Canada with the launch of Radio DashSync by Stingray™,” said Dean Rutherford, Vice President of Sales, Stingray Radio. “Our valued advertising partners can now reinforce key messaging on the car dashboard at the exact time their ad is airing, ensuring they are not only heard but seen, dramatically increasing impact and ensuring their brand is top-of-mind. It’s a game-changer for radio advertisers and we are proud to be the first major Canadian broadcaster to bring it to market.”
