Prime Monday Night Hockey announces collaboration with Spittin’ Chiclets podcast

Prime Video has announced a new collaboration with Barstool Sports’ Spittin’ Chiclets podcast, as part of the streamer’s ongoing push to connect with Canadian hockey audiences.

As part of the collaboration, the Spittin’ Chiclets cast – including Paul “Biz” Bissonnette, Ryan Whitney, and Keith Yandle – will contribute exclusive content and commentary to Prime Monday Night Hockey in Canada for the 2025-26 NHL season, with features in the pre-game show Home Ice Access and during intermission. In addition to his work as a studio analyst for NHL on TNT, Bissonnette will join the desk for select guest appearances as an analyst, starting with the season opener on Oct. 13.

The Spittin’ Chiclets crew will also appear on select episodes of NHL Coast to Coast, the live weekly whip-around studio show airing Thursday nights. Starting tonight, Oct. 9, Yandle will join host Andi Petrillo, with live look-ins, highlights and analysis of every NHL game that night.

The hosts will additionally tease upcoming Prime Monday Night Hockey match-ups on their weekly podcast.

“The podcast offers a unique blend of NHL coverage, pop culture discussions, and candid stories from the hosts’ playing days, resonating strongly with hockey fans seeking authentic, unfiltered perspectives on the game,” Prime Video said in an announcement. “Through this partnership, Prime Monday Night Hockey will tap into the distinctive voice and approach that has made the show a favourite among players and fans alike.”

Earlier this week, Prime Video unveiled its NHL broadcast team for the 2025-26 season, which sees Chris Pronger and Christine Simpson join Prime Monday Night Hockey’s on-air roster.
