The Sandra & Chris Show on KiSS 105.3 (CISS-FM) Ottawa has come to an end after eight and a half years, as part of ongoing programming changes at Rogers Sports & Media.

The Roz & Mocha Show – which originates from Toronto sister station KiSS 92.5 (CKIS-FM) – will make its debut Monday morning in the 6 – 9 a.m. time slot.

The duo were joined on their final show Friday morning by Ottawa Mayor and veteran broadcaster Mark Sutcliffe, who presented them both with Ottawa 200 commemorative medals recognizing their impact on the city.

Chris Love, Sandra Plagakis, and producer Courtney Crowder are staying with the company, but in new roles. Plagakis moves forward as KiSS 105.3’s midday host.

“What an insanely fun ride it’s been,” she wrote, in a post to Instagram. “Working with Chris Love and Courtney Crowder has been one of the biggest highlights of my career, and I’m going to miss laughing with them every morning. (Although, technically, we still can—we’re all staying in the same building!).”

“To our amazing listeners: thank you. Whether you’ve been with Chris and I since day 1, or welcomed Courtney with open arms when she joined the show, you’ve made these past 8½ years unforgettable. Your loyalty, support, and laughter have meant the world to us,” she continued. “As they say, all good things must come to an end…but this isn’t goodbye.”

The Roz & Mocha Show airs across the KiSS radio brand in various dayparts, previously airing in evenings in Ottawa. Rogers has steadily expanded its reach, including in 2020 when it started airing the show on KiSS 100.5 (CHUR-FM) North Bay, KiSS 99.3 (CKGB-FM) Timmins, and KiSS 100.5 (CHAS-FM) Sault Ste. Marie, in place of the local morning shows on those stations. The Roz & Mocha Show celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2024.

At least two FM morning shows were impacted as part of 230 jobs eliminated at Rogers Sports & Media earlier this month, including Griff and Caroline at JACK 92.9 (CFLT-FM) Halifax and 98.5 The Ocean (CIOC-FM) Victoria morning duo, AJ & Mira.
