Pattison Media has announced the company’s acquisition of Vancouver-based marketing solutions company, Western Media Group (WMG).
WMG offers media solutions to advertisers, media buying services and ad agencies across digital and traditional media, including programmatic trading, digital audio, podcast advertising, television, radio, search and out-of-home.
CEO David St. Laurent, who founded WMG in 2008, says the agency’s values align with those of Pattison Media – integrity, service and exceptional work.
“Since our launch in 2008, the vision of Western Media Group has always been to be a complete media solutions provider for our agency and direct customers,” said St. Laurent, in a Pattison Media announcement. “Joining the Pattison Media family helps us complete this vision and positions WMG for continued growth, well into the future.”
St. Laurent will continue working with the company, supporting President Marc Brasset during the ownership transition.
“We look forward to continuing the vision and complete media service that WMG has built their reputation on and welcome this opportunity to compliment our offerings to our current and future clients,” said Pattison Media President Rod Schween. “We’re confident that this acquisition will benefit the Western Canadian advertising industry as a whole and will allow PML to continue growing our multi-platform solutions. Our history has been built on acquisitions and diversification and this purchase is an important next step in broadening our digital marketing reach while building on our overall company strategic plan.”
