The DGC has unveiled the nominees for the 2026 DGC Awards for Feature Film, Documentary and Short Film.
By film, comedy-horror sequel Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, leads nominations with three, including Best Picture Editing – Feature Film (Jay Prychidny); Best Sound Editing – Feature Film (Adam Stein, Mark Dejczak, Ryan Allam, Paul Germann, Gerald Trepy & Ethan Southwell); and Feature Film Crew of the Year.
Guilermo del Toro’s Frankenstein garnered two nominations, alongside The Stunt Driver; Finch & Midland; documentary The Pink Pill: Sex, Drugs and Who Has Control; historical horror doc, Black Zombie, whose director Maya Annik Bedward is up for the Jean-Marc Vallée DGC Discovery Award; and Clement Virgo drama, Steal Away.
The nominees for Television Series, Movies for Television and Mini-Series were previously unveiled in August.
Winners will be revealed on Saturday, Nov. 14 at Vancouver’s Chan Centre for the Performing Arts.
