Bell Media made changes at several of its TSN radio stations Wednesday.
At TSN 1200 (CFGO-AM) Ottawa, longtime staff affected include morning co-host Steve Warne, who had been with the station for 19 years; producer James Abson, a 20-year employee; and morning Sportscentre anchor Dean Roberts, who’d been with TSN and sister station 580 CFRA, since 1996.
At TSN 1040 (CKST-AM) Vancouver, gone are morning show host Dave Pratt, who joined TSN in 2013; rotating co-host and colour commentator Dave Tomlinson, who was with the station for 15 years; along with producer Curt Appleby.
It’s anticipated that fill-in hosts will take over the 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. time slot, ahead of a new schedule set to launch in April.
Today was my final show on @TSN1200. Thanks to Bell Media for a great run. I had a blast and I’ll miss it. Excited now to head into free agency and seeing what the next chapter brings. #Another2019UFA

Gutted to have lost my job at TSN 1040 today.
I worked very hard to achieve a dream job and even harder while I had the privilege. Can’t thank them enough for the opportunities I have been afforded.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out.
Stoked for whatever is next.
