Submissions open for 2026 Broadcast Dialogue Canadian Radio Awards

Submissions for the 2026 Broadcast Dialogue – Canadian Radio Awards officially open on Monday, marking the return of the country’s only national, industry-judged awards program dedicated to recognizing excellence in Canadian radio.

The 2026 competition introduces an updated fee structure. Starting this year, submissions will carry an entry fee of $79.99 CAD plus tax, payable by credit card at the time of submission.

Several key categories and radio group sponsors will be exempt from the new structure, including:

  • Radio Group Supporters: Stations affiliated with participating Radio Group Supporters receive unlimited entries at no cost. The current roster of supporting groups includes Stingray Radio, Pattison Media, Harvard Media, Acadia Broadcasting, and Bell Media. (Broadcasters interested in becoming a Radio Group Supporter can contact Rob Brimacombe at rob.brimacombe@momentummediamarketing.com).

  • Campus & Community Stations: Outlets classified as campus or community stations, including those entering Campus & Community Station of the Year, will receive free entry codes via member associations, including the Community Radio Fund of Canada (CRFC), NCRA/ANREC, ARCQ, and ARC.

  • Young Broadcaster of the Year: Submissions for this category remain free of charge to encourage emerging industry talent.

Submissions open Monday. Broadcasters can review category guidelines, eligibility rules, and learn more about this year’s jury at CanadianRadioAwards.com.
