Rogers Sports & Media VP Paul Kaye announces departure

Paul Kaye, the head of Rogers Sports & Media’s audio business, has announced internally he’ll be leaving the company at the end of May.

In his current role for the last three years, Kaye has been with the company since 2016 when he joined as VP, Product & Talent. He will also step down from his post as President & Board Chair of broadcaster-backed radio streaming service, Radioplayer Canada.

Originally from the UK, Kaye began working in Canada in 2012, previously holding roles at Newcap Radio, including National Director of Talent Development, prior to joining Rogers.

His last day with Rogers Sports & Media will be May 30.

A company spokesperson told Broadcast Dialogue, the audio division is still finalizing a “go-forward” leadership plan ahead of Kaye’s departure.
