Scott Fee

Scott Fee is joining Linda Olsen as the new co-anchor of Calgary’s Global News Hour at 6. Fee has been a member of the Global News Morning and Global News at Noon teams for the last six years. As part of his new role, Fee will also take the reins of Global News at 11 weeknights. Weekend morning anchor Kris Laudien will fill Fee’s shoes on Global News Morning and Global News at Noon. The changes take effect Sept. 5.

Tara Jean Stevens

Tara Jean Stevens will join Riaz Meghji as the new co-host of Breakfast Television on City TV Vancouver. Up until last month, Stevens was co-host of the JACK 96.9 (CJAX-FM) Vancouver morning show. A two-time recipient of the British Columbia Association of Broadcasters (BCAB) Broadcast Performer of the Year award, Stevens is also a playwright and actress. She replaces longtime host Dawn Chubai, who has relocated to Toronto.

David Cruise

David Cruise has departed the Z95.3 (CKZZ-FM) Vancouver morning show. The show has been rebranded Z Mornings with Ruby & Leslie, retaining Cruise’s two co-hosts. Cruise had been with the station since March 2014, arriving from Newcap’s Hot 89.9 (CIHT-FM) Ottawa.

Neil Morrison

Neil Morrison is out at Pulse 107.7 (CISF-FM) Surrey. Morrison joined the station in Feb. 2016 as host of afternoon drive. Dave Sheldon has been promoted to morning show host and PD.

Chris Wahl

Chris Wahl is joining the News 1130 (CKWX-AM) Vancouver sports department as an evening/weekend anchor. Wahl previously worked for Vista Radio in Castlegar before heading up marketing for a number of hockey clubs, most recently the WHL’s Kootenay ICE. He replaces Jas Kang, who is heading back to school.

Neill Clemens

Neill Clemens is retiring from the 1460 CJOY Guelph newsroom after 43 years, the last 25 as news director and co-host of The Dave and Neill Morning Show. Clemens started his career at CKOX-AM Woodstock after leaving the Broadcast Journalism program at Fanshawe College early. His last show is Friday.

Michael Kuss

Michael Kuss, meteorologist at Global BC, has announced on Twitter he is leaving the station. Kuss’ post indicates he’s signed a non-disclosure agreement, but hints he’s moving on to an opportunity outside television. Kuss was previously at CTV Vancouver before joining Global in Dec. 2015.

Terry Shepherd

Terry Shepherd, GM/GSM for Bell Media in the BC Peace region, has resigned to join Vista Radio as GM/GSM for Williams Lake, Quesnel and 100 Mile House, starting July 4. Shepherd had been in the position since 2006. He was previously president and GM of Cariboo Central Interior Radio Inc., based in Prince George.

Bell Media will move almost the entire Énergie 94.3 (CKMF-FM) Montreal talent lineup over to iHeartRadio sister station Rouge FM 107.3 (CITE-FM), starting Aug. 14.

Éric Salvail, Dominic Arpin, Mélanie Maynard and Patrick Langlois

Éric Salvail, Dominic Arpin, Mélanie Maynard and Patrick Langlois will move over to Rouge, which will retain mid-day hosts Julie Boulanger and Eric Nolin. Pierre-Marc Babin will host the evening show. Patricia Paquin and Benoît Gagnon will also remain on weekends.
