Multicultural broadcaster OMNI TV is also available on Prime via Citytv+ with daily third-language newscasts in Arabic, Cantonese, Filipino, Italian, Mandarin, and Punjabi, plus locally-produced programming in more than 20 languages. CityNews 24/7 will offer digital news, including the latest headlines, weather, and traffic, as well as live coverage of Breakfast Television and CityNews local newscasts. Amazon is raising the price of its Prime membership in Canada. The subscription, which encompasses free one-day shipping on many items, access to its Prime Video streaming platform and other benefits, will go up $2 to $9.99/month, while an annual renewal will increase by $20 to $99 per year. It’s the first price increase for Prime since Amazon launched in Canada in 2013.
