Veteran sports talk host Mike Richards is about to resurface on the airwaves in Calgary after a tumultuous summer for sports media, particularly in Calgary and Vancouver, where Rogers Sports & Media took Sportsnet Radio off the air in both markets.

The Raw Mike Richards Show, which Richards had been independently producing, alongside imaging guru and executive producer Ron Tarrant, had been airing on Sportsnet 960 The Fan (CFAC-AM) since last year. It’s now about to get a second life on Corus Radio’s QR 77 (CHQR-AM) in Calgary, starting in September.
