CBC News is launching a new primetime program in the midst of an unprecedented news cycle that has sparked a surge in demand for Canadian news.

Veteran anchor Ian Hanomansing will helm Hanomansing Tonight – live from the West Coast – from 7 – 9 p.m. ET on CBC News Network and CBC Gem.
