Harvard Media expands Creative Services Team

Harvard Media has expanded its Customer Creative Services team with the appointment of Angie Beers as Contract Creative Consultant, alongside the return of veteran creative writer Darren Ollinger and the addition of award-winning producer Liz Campbell

The company says the expansion reflects its commitment “to building the strongest creative team in Canadian broadcasting while reinforcing its focus on creative excellence and effective customer solutions for clients across Western Canada.” The revamped team will support Harvard Media’s roster of stations and customers across Western Canada.

Angie Beers

Beers, who is based in Calgary, formerly spent 23 years at Bell Media as the Creative and Production Director for Radio and Television in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. She’ll lead the new team, joined by Ollinger, who previously oversaw Harvard’s Alberta creative team up until getting caught up in a round of layoffs in 2024. Campbell also arrives from Bell Media in Calgary, where she’s been a Senior Commercial Producer since 2013. She’ll serve as Senior Producer & Creative Writer, working closely with revenue teams and clients.

“Creative is the heartbeat of great radio and great marketing,” said Beers, in a company announcement. “Harvard Media believes in the power of effective customer solutions, and this team is built to push that even further. Our  goal is simple…build the strongest creative services team in Canada and deliver effective work that helps our clients stand out and show them results in meaningful ways.”

Playing a key role in the new structure is Scott Couldridge, who has been promoted to  Systems/Workflow Lead within the Creative Services team. He’ll continue in his role as producer while helping manage workflow and client delegation across the department.

“These moves represent an exciting step forward,” Beers added. “With the addition of Darren and  Liz, Scott’s internal promotion, and the strength of the talented producers and writers already on our team, we believe Harvard Media is uniquely positioned to deliver some of the most creative and  effective customer advertising solutions in the country.”
