Golden West names Doug Campbell to new CRO role

Golden West Broadcasting has named Doug Campbell to the new role of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

Campbell, who was most recently with white-label digital marketing provider Vendasta, will work closely with Carter Friesen, Golden West’s Chief Operating Officer, and Brett Adnum, VP of Sales and Operations, to focus on new revenue opportunities.

“Golden West’s purpose is to serve our communities by keeping our audiences informed and providing meaningful careers – and that can only happen if we help more local businesses grow. Doug’s experience developing high-performing teams makes him a perfect fit to help us accomplish this purpose,” said Friesen, in a release.

During Campbell’s tenure as VP of Revenue with Vendasta, the company made Deloitte’s North America’s 500 Fastest Growing Tech Companies, the Globe and Mail’s Top Growing Companies, and Growth 500’s Fastest Growing Companies lists. Prior to Vendasta, Campbell was Director, Business Development and interim CEO of Moose Jaw’s Mosaic Place arena, and held sales roles with Clear Sky Radio in Lethbridge, the Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club, and the Regina Pats Hockey Club.

Campbell will continue to be based in Moose Jaw.
