The launch follows a successful R&D pilot that birthed initiatives like the NHL Extended Reality Stats Overlay, an augmented reality (AR) viewing experience that brings broadcast and video game capabilities to those watching in-person, and an Immersive Basketball Experience developed using optical data to give the user a life-sized AR experience as if they are viewing a game as a player or sitting courtside.
