Broadcast Tech & Engineering News – Futuri expands AudioAI to TV, digital, streaming

Futuri has announced the launch of Futuri AudioAIformerly branded as RadioGPT, that due to demand is now available to television broadcasters, digital publishers, streamers and other live audio applications. The end-to-end content system combines automation system integration, Futuri’s TopicPulse story discovery AI, large language model (LLM) technology, and AI voice. Read more here.

NAB Show New York says total preliminary registered attendance reached 12,231 for the Oct. 24-26 event, an increase of 28% year-over-year. Featuring more than 225 sessions hosting nearly 300 speakers, the show floor featured nearly 270 exhibitors, including 60 first-time exhibitors showcasing the latest tech in broadcast, media and entertainment. The 2024 NAB Show New York will be held October 8-10, 2024. Also produced by the National Association of Broadcasters, NAB Show is slated for April 13-17 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. 

WABE (Western Association of Broadcast Engineers) has extended Early Bird Registration for its upcoming conference to Friday, Nov 3. The WABE community of friends, vendors and experts are looking forward to talking tech, Nov 27-29 in North Vancouver’s Shipyard District. There are still hotel rooms available.
