Broadcast Dialogue: The Podcast – ‘The Radio Nerd’ Kat Carter

Kat Carter had a meteoric rise in radio, going from her first job in Belleville, Ontario to middays in Vancouver in less than three years. But after returning to her hometown of Toronto and CHUM-FM, she made the decision to leave the industry in 2018 to take care of her health.

She’s now the entrepreneur behind retail site and online community TheRadioNerd.com. Broadcast Dialogue caught up with Carter to talk about sharing her passion for the medium and advice for broadcasters on how to avoid burning out.
