A look at Spring 2019 diary ratings for Victoria, Halifax, Winnipeg, Ottawa and Quebec City

As we ease into summer I have some hard numbers for you…the latest radio diary ratings. Let’s look at five of the top diary markets.

Victoria: Bragging rights at the top of the ratings heap go to The Q delivering a 15.2% share for A12+ (down from 15.6% in the fall. The Zone grabs the #1 spot with women 25-54 delivering a 17.8% share (up from 12.5%).  The Q holds the #1 spot for males 25-54, posting a 21.8% share followed by The Zone with 18.8%.

Winnipeg: 680 CJOB grabs the #1 spot for A12+ with a 11.3% share of hours tuned (up from 11.0%). Taking the top spot for F25-54 was 103.1 Virgin Radio, posting an 11.4% share (down from 12.0% last fall). 92 CITI maintains its strong male presence grabbing the lead for M25-54 listeners, delivering a 10.5 % share (down from 12.2%). 

Halifax: Perennial favourite Q104 takes #1 for A12+, posting a 10.4 % share of hours tuned (down from 11.2%). C100 takes top spot for F25-54, delivering a 20.1% share (up from 11.6 %). Q104 tops the list for M25-54 with a 20.8 % share (down from 21.0%). 

Quebec City: CHOI 98.1 is #1 for A12+ with a 14.7 % share (up from 12.9%). WKND Radio 91.9 is tops with women, taking #1 spot for F25-54 delivering a 26.4% share (up from 22.3%). For M25-54, CHOI 98.1 is way out in front with a 27.7 % share (up from 27.3 %). 

Ottawa: CHEZ-FM is #1 for A12+  with a 6.9% share (up from 4.3%). HOT 89.9 is tops with women, taking #1 spot for F25-54 delivering an 11.5% share (up from 10.9%). For M25-54, CHEZ-FM is on top at 11.3% share (up from 7.0 %).
