Erin Davis named morning co-host on Vancouver’s MOVE 103.5

Erin Davis is officially moving into the morning co-host position on Vancouver’s MOVE 103.5 (CHQM-FM), following Nat Hunter’s move to Toronto’s CHUM 104.5 over the summer.

Davis, who has long anchored news and traffic on the show, has been filling in as co-host since Hunter’s departure in June after 22 years sitting across from longtime co-host Drew Savage – initially on Z95.3 (CKZZ-FM), before launching on MOVE predecessor QMFM in 2014.

Savage and Davis will now move forward in the weekday morning time slot as Drew & Erin in the Morning, 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. PT.

In an announcement, Bell Media said the move solidifies the on-air team of Drew, Erin, and producer Alexa, “expanding on their chemistry and connection with audiences both on-air and across the station’s digital platforms.”

“After working together for more than 20 years, Erin already knows pretty much everything about me, which either means she’s perfect for this…or it’s a terrible career decision on her part!” said Savage. “Regardless, this really does feel like the natural next chapter for us and our show. ‘Real Friends, Real Fun’ has been our slogan for years and it still fits today.”

“Pinch me, because this is sincerely a dream come true,” added Davis. “I get to step into this amazing role as co-host, and continue working every morning with my close friend and radio legend (he’ll absolutely hate that I called him that), Drew Savage! I am so incredibly happy to continue waking up with our wonderful MOVE listeners, and I can’t wait for all the fun times ahead.”

“Vancouver listeners have built a wonderful connection with both Drew and Erin over the years,” said Program Director Jasmina Koga. “Together with producer Alexa, they bring an authenticity, energy, and sense of fun that resonates with our audiences every morning. We’re excited to build on that foundation and continue evolving the show in new and creative ways.”
