KiSS Throwbacks named new radio home for Vancouver Canucks broadcasts

September 9, 2026

Rogers Sports & Media’s KiSS Throwbacks has announced that the Classic Hits station will be the new home for Vancouver Canucks’ radio broadcasts.

Starting with the Saturday, Sept. 19th pre-season matchup vs. Seattle, fans in Greater Vancouver can tuned in via 104.9 FM in Vancouver, 92.5 FM in Abbotsford, and 107.5 FM in Chilliwack and the Fraser Valley.

Brendan Batchelor will return to handle play-by-play duties, alongside Randip Janda on colour commentary.⁣

The broadcast rights land at KISS Throwbacks, following Rogers Sports & Media station closures in early July that included Sportsnet 650 (CISL-AM), Vancouver’s last remaining sports radio station, where games had been heard since the 2017-18 season.
