Online & Digital Media News – Bell levels up esports investment

OverActive Media and Bell – a key strategic investor in the Toronto-headquartered esports company – have announced the renewal and expansion of their partnership for an additional three years. Bell is levelling up its esports investment, acting as presenting partner of OverActive’s largescale events including Toronto Ultra Major III this month and the Toronto Defiant Summer Showdown in September. Bell has also established the Bell Fibe Zone, a professional esports practice facility within OverActive’s Toronto-based headquarters, powered by Bell pure fibre internet. Bell is also producing branded content, including OverActive series “Bell presents The Blueprint,” a behind-the-scenes look at Toronto Ultra during the Call of Duty League season. The Bell logo will appear on team jerseys, in addition to broadcast branding integration for both Toronto Ultra and Toronto Defiant.
