Netflix now represents 15 per cent of all downloaded internet traffic

Netflix now represents 15 per cent of all downloaded internet traffic worldwide, according to Sandvine’s 2018 Global Internet Phenomena Report. The report from the Waterloo, ON network solutions company, breaks down how applications are consuming internet bandwith.  It suggests video now accounts for nearly 58 per cent of downstream internet traffic, with gaming also gaining ground.
