Bell Media properties off the air following water main break in Montreal

A number of Bell Media radio and TV properties are off the air following a major water main break in downtown Montreal.

The break, which submerged intersections near the Jacques-Cartier bridge, starting around 6 a.m. ET, has impacted RDS, Noovo, CTV Montreal, CTV Ottawa, CTV Atlantic, and other specialty channels, in addition to Rouge FM (CITE-FM), Energie (CKMF-FM), CJAD, CHOM, Virgin Radio (CJFM-FM) and TSN Radio (CKGM-FM).

A Bell Media statement said teams are working to get the stations back on-air as quickly as possible.

The company’s Montreal studios are located on René-Lévesque Boulevard East at the intersection of Avenue Papineau.
