Bell Media’s TSN and RDS are set to broadcast the upcoming Concacaf competitions for Canada Soccer’s Men’s and Women’s National Teams.
Kicking off Nov. 13 with the Men’s Quarterfinal series against Guatemala, before returning home to host the second leg at BMO Field in Toronto on Nov. 16, the aggregate winner will advance to the 2027 Concacaf Nations League Finals in Los Angeles and secure qualification for the 2027 Concacaf Gold Cup.
The Women’s team will then begin its Concacaf W Championship campaign against Panama on Nov. 28, serving as the qualifier for both the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027 and the LA28 Olympic Games.
Canada Soccer says the upcoming broadcasts build on record interest during FIFA World Cup 2026 and a busy fall of international play that saw five National Team friendlies air across OneSoccer, TSN and RDS in September and October.
“This window is a significant moment for both of our National Teams, with a place in the Concacaf Nations League Finals and qualification for the FIFA Women’s World Cup and the LA28 Olympic Games on the line,” said Kevin Blue, Canada Soccer CEO. “Canadians have shown how much these teams mean to them and making these matches available across TSN, RDS and OneSoccer ensures fans across the country can follow them every step of the way.”
TSN’s coverage of every Canada match will feature pre-game and halftime studio coverage. The Canadian Men’s Quarterfinal series against Guatemala will also air in French on RDS, while the Women’s Concacaf W Championship matches will be available in French on RDS’ digital platforms.
OneSoccer closer to resolving Rogers carriage dispute
The Canada Soccer announcement comes as OneSoccer comes to an agreement on rates for Rogers to carry the Timeless Inc.-owned channel.
Timeless first alleged undue preference in a Part 1 application filed with the CRTC in 2022, suggesting that Rogers was refusing to carry OneSoccer because it was concerned about competition with Sportsnet.
The Federal Court of Appeal rejected Rogers’ appeal in the matter in May.
During the final offer arbitration (FOA) process, Timeless has now agreed to Rogers’ rates to carry the discretionary sports channel. How the channel will be packaged remains in question. Read more on this story in our sister publication, CARTT.ca.
