Luke Willson to host Grey Cup Playoffs watchalong ‘alt-casts’ for TSN

Bell Media has enlisted Super Bowl champion tight end Luke Willson to host what the network is dubbing an “alt-cast,” leading up to the Grey Cup on Nov. 15.

Film Never Lies Grey Cup Playoffs Watchalong will be hosted by the TSN football analyst, described as a “conversational hangout” set to air on TSN2 and stream on TSN.ca and the TSN app during two Grey Cup Playoffs matchups.

Featuring guest appearances from players and CFL personalities, including Commissioner Stewart Johnston, the first special will debut ahead of the Eastern Semi-Final featuring the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Toronto Argonauts on Saturday, Oct. 31, kicking off with a 30-minute pre-game show at 12:30 p.m. ET.

Willson will also host a half-hour pre-game show at 6 p.m. ET ahead of the Western Final on Saturday, Nov. 7 when the Edmonton Elks host either the B.C. Lions or Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Willson, who won Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seattle Seahawks in 2014, has served as an NFL analyst for TSN since 2022, appearing on NFL ON CTV LIVE and as a post-game analyst on SC with Jay Onrait. He joined CFL ON TSN in 2025 as a sideline analyst for Friday Night Football and served as a game analyst throughout the 2026 season.

Clips and viral moments from the specials will also be featured across TSN’s and Willson’s social accounts including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X.
