Producer/Announcer (Maternity Leave)

The Island Radio Division of Pattison Media has an exciting opening for a full-time (Maternity Leave) Announcer/Production Assistant based in Nanaimo.
Job Details
• In Production you will download and load programming; record voice; produce commercials and imaging; and support brainstorming and other production duties.
• On-air shifts include regular weekend voice tracking on our Hot AC 102.3 The Wave, plus live relief shows (mornings/afternoons) across multiple stations so versatility is a must.
• Support social media, remotes, MCing & event hosting, commercial voicing, and assisting the Music Department, plus all regular duties of an announcer.
• Proficiency with Adobe Audition is required.
• MusicMaster and WideOrbit Automation for Radio knowledge are assets.
• You’re creative, quick, organized, efficient, versatile and have a sense of humour.
• You’d like to live on Canada’s west coast in one of the most beautiful small cities in the world.
