Joelle Tomlinson to join Country 105 morning show

Corus Entertainment has announced that former Global Calgary anchor Joelle Tomlinson is joining the morning show on Calgary’s Country 105 (CKRY-FM).

Starting May 4, Tomlinson will be heard alongside Gregg Reynolds on The Morning Show with Greg and Joelle, weekdays from 6 – 10 a.m. MT.

Tomlinson announced late last month that she was departing Global News after two and a half years as a reporter and co-anchor with the Calgary station. She previously spent six years as a morning show anchor and producer at CTV Calgary. Prior to that, she was a weather presenter and Morning News Live reporter for Global Saskatoon.

She steps into the role last held by Josie Balka, who was released by Corus in December. Balka had been with the station since 2021 when she stepped in for the retiring Robyn Adair.
