“We’re thrilled to add Jay to our team here at ALT,” Program & Promotions Director Dale Davies told Broadcast Dialogue. “His experience and love of Winnipeg make him a great fit for what we’re building here.”

Davies confirmed Richardson will start on air mid-December, at which time Aaron Penman will slide into the evening time slot.

Richardson will also continue to serve as the voice of the Winnipeg Jets.
