ATSC, the Broadcast Standards Association, will host its annual NextGen Broadcast Conference at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C. in mid-June. The program will focus on new opportunities for broadcasting utilizing ATSC 3.0, the next-generation broadcast standard now available to viewers in 75 markets across the U.S., 80% of viewers in South Korea and soon 66% in Jamaica. The two-day conference looking at next-gen broadcast options and devices runs Thursday, June 13 and Friday, June 14, and is open to all.

Avid is introducing a ground-breaking series of micro-certifications through a new collaboration with Post Super, an educational platform specializing in post-production. The Avid/Post Super co-branded courses and micro-certifications, crafted by industry veterans, draw upon real-world experiences and best practices. In addition to technical instruction, the certifications delve into the underlying principles and philosophies that drive effective post-production workflows, from the fundamentals of the cutting room to collaborative editing.
