Pary Bell named CEO of The Podcast Exchange (TPX)

Pary Bell has been appointed the new CEO of The Podcast Exchange (TPX).

Bell, arguably best known for his eight-year run with Rogers Sports & Media where he ended his tenure in 2017 as Vice President & General Manager of Rogers Media, Sportsnet & NHL, had most recently been working with Torstar digital marketing agency, Eyereturn Marketing. Prior to that, he served as SVP, of Torstar’s Commercial Products & Sales Operations. He’s also held roles with Canwest, Alliance Atlantis and CBC.

“Pary’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter for TPX,” said TPX Board Chair Ian Lurie, in a company announcement. “His track record in transforming businesses and spearheading innovative, client-focused strategies makes him an ideal leader to navigate TPX through the ever-evolving podcasting landscape.”

Bell steps in to the CEO role as Lina Kim departs the Toronto-headquartered podcast monetization company. Kim had held the title of president since 2021, succeeding founding CEO Jean-Marie Heimrath.

TPX says Bell’s “ability to lead teams through significant changes, fostering a culture of collaboration and adaptability” is expected to “propel the company to new heights, leveraging his expertise and market insights.”

“I am thrilled to join TPX and look forward to driving its growth in the dynamic world of podcasting,” said Pary. “This role presents an exciting opportunity to leverage my digital media leadership experience to deepen our impact in the industry, finding even more meaningful ways to support our partners in achieving their business goals.”

TPX said it will be announcing more additions to its team and services in the weeks ahead.
