Futuri AudioAI expands to TV, digital, streaming applications

Futuri has announced the launch of Futuri AudioAIformerly branded as RadioGPT, that due to demand is now available to television broadcasters, digital publishers, streamers and other live audio applications.

The end-to-end content system – which Futuri says it currently has partners for in the U.S., Canada, the UK, France, Spain, and Germany – combines automation system integration, Futuri’s TopicPulse story discovery AI, large language model (LLM) technology, and AI voice. The company says integrating multiple LLMs, beyond GPT-4 – which was the backbone of RadioGPT – enables it to improve the system continuously. Futuri AudioAI also features improved weather report capabilities, allowing stations to strengthen “live and local” positioning by offering sponsorable weather reports with live conditions around the clock.

Futuri is augmenting its in-house AI voices with partnerships with AI voice generator and research lab ElevenLabs, in addition to AI text-to-speech voice generators PlayHT and Resemble AI, to make voices from their portfolios available under Futuri’s Voice Choice Library. AudioAI users can also clone their own talent to add to their own AI voice libraries.

“AI is evolving at warp speed, as are Futuri’s capabilities,” said Futuri CEO and Founder Daniel Anstandig, in a company announcement. “Futuri AudioAI takes the best of RadioGPT, which has received an extraordinary worldwide response, and makes its core features more powerful. Plus, adding these esteemed AI voice partners to our Voice Choice Library gives our users unparalleled options to differentiate their sound. Futuri is proud to lead the way in AI innovation for media companies and content creators.”

The launch of Futuri AudioAI follows the July launch of SpotOn, an AI solution delivering end-to-end production, including original scripts, music, and voiceover, for radio and television broadcasters looking to streamline their commercial production.
