Tucker & Maura expand to Ottawa’s JUMP! 106.9

Corus Radio is expanding the reach of Tucker & Maura, who as of Wednesday are now being heard on Ottawa’s JUMP! 106.9 (CKQB-FM), in addition to 102.1 The Edge (CFNY-FM) Toronto.

Scott Tucker and Maura Grierson took over The Edge morning show in January. The duo was previously heard on Energy 95.3 (CING-FM) Hamilton where they’d been hosting Tucker and Maura in the Morning since March 2019, while being heard in afternoons on Corus’ 103.1 Fresh Radio (CFHK-FM) London. Prior to that, they co-hosted the Virgin Radio (CKFM-FM) Toronto morning show for more than three years, up until their release from the station in November 2018.

Tucker & Maura replace syndicated American morning show Brooke & Jeffrey, which originates from Seattle, ending a six-year run on the station.

“We are excited to have such an iconic morning show join the team on JUMP! 106.9,” said Regional Program Director for Corus Radio, Stephanie Hunter, in a Corus announcement. “Tucker and Maura know how to connect with their audience and we can’t wait for JUMP! listeners to hear their fearless and funny take on life.”

Tucker & Maura will be heard on both The Edge and JUMP!, weekday mornings from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.
