Dahlia Kurtz to host new morning talk show on SiriusXM

Dahlia Kurtz is landing on her feet with a new gig hosting a national morning talk show on SiriusXM.

The former host of “The Goods” which aired weekends on Ottawa’s 580 CFRA, Kurtz was caught up in February’s round of layoffs at Bell Media.

Starting April 12, “Good Mornings with Dahlia Kurtz” will air live, Monday to Friday, from 7 – 8 a.m. ET on SiriusXM’s Canada Talks (Channel 167).

Identifying as a “social good talk show host,” Kurtz’s mantra as a host is “to help make good things happen.”

The show will reflect on similar themes to “The Goods,” including sharing inspiring true stories and creating a connection point for those looking to help others in their community. Kurtz has a track record of bringing people together on-air, including helping get the army in to save homes from flooding in the Ottawa River cottage community of Rhoddy’s Bay in 2019.

“When restructuring hit Canada’s media landscape in February, some people said I had been ejected from my show,” said Kurtz. “But I felt I was being propelled. And now, I’m excited to propel forward with this mission.”
