Hollywood Suite makes internal executive promotions

Hollywood Suite has upped two of its internal staffers to new executive roles.

Sharon Stevens

Sharon Stevens is promoted to Vice-President of Programming, the title formerly held by longtime VP Ellen Baine, who retired in Feb. 2020. Upon Baine’s retirement, Stevens was initially promoted to Senior Director of Programming after serving as Director of Programming for three years. Prior to joining Hollywood Suite, she held senior programming and scheduling roles at both Blue Ant Media and GlassBOX Television.

Julie Kumaria

Julie Kumaria is promoted to Senior Vice-President, Marketing and Content Distribution. Kumaria has been with the company since 2013, holding the role of Vice-President, Marketing and Content Distribution for the last five years. Her prior experience includes marketing, sales and distribution roles at Astral Networks, Insight Sports and Shaftesbury Films. She also sits on the board of CTAM Canada, serving as its President from 2018-20. She is also on the advisory board for the Ted Rogers Hot Docs Cinema.

These latest internal moves at the network of specialty channels follow December’s promotion of Eileen Gaudet to Manager, VOD & Traffic. Gaudet previously held the title of Programming & VOD Coordinator.
