Troy Reeb to take on expanded role at Corus Entertainment

Troy Reeb

Corus Entertainment has announced that Troy Reeb will take on an expanded role as Executive Vice President Networks and Content, effective Nov. 1.

The new appointment sees Reeb assume responsibility for studio content, in addition to his current oversight of multi-platform broadcast networks, news and audio as Corus continues to “streamline” its programming operating model, the company noted in an announcement Thursday.

“He will have a fully integrated cross-portfolio view of Corus’ content, whether acquired or produced, for Corus networks and for distribution around the world,” it continued.

“Troy has a deep knowledge of our company and our industry with strong relationships with content partners and a keen understanding of the evolving regulatory landscape,” said Doug Muphy, President and CEO, Corus Entertainment. “This evolution aligns with our strategic plan as we make smart changes amidst these challenging times, adapting our business to emerge strong and focused as the current economic and industry uncertainty passes.”

Colin Bohm

With the appointment, Corus is eliminating the position of Executive Vice President Content and Strategy, currently held by Colin Bohm, who will exit the company at the end of the month.

Bohm has been with Corus for 21 years, holding roles including Managing Director, Nelvana and Head of Corus Kids.
