SiriusXM Canada has announced new Canadian programming, including a recently-introduced morning show, and the extension of Frequency Podcast Network daily news and culture podcast, The Big Story, to the satellite network.
The Boost on Canada Talks (ch. 167), which soft-launched in mornings in January, airs 8 – 10 a.m. ET, featuring music expert Patrick Bateman, journalist and author Liza Fromer, and pop culture authority Vicky Sparks. Recent guests have included Alessia Cara, Mae Martin, Nathan Fillion, and Sum 41, along with international artists like Malcom McDowell, Amanda Seyfried, Jason Derulo, Iliza Shlesinger, and Joey Fatone.
Other recent additions to the Canada Talks weekday lineup include The Big Story, airing from 1 – 2 p.m. ET, and daily wrap-up show, The Wrap Up, a best of conversations, interviews, and commentary from across SiriusXM, airing from 5 – 7 p.m. ET.
No Filter with Tara Slone is among the network’s new weekend offerings. Airing Saturdays at 2 p.m. ET on Canada Talks, the show dives into women-centred topics from body dysmorphia to dating.

The Exhale with Kyle Buchanan also joins the weekend lineup, exploring the highs, lows, and unexpected turns of modern challenges. Airing Sundays at 4 p.m. ET, The Exhale discusses anxiety, loneliness, navigating career shifts, family dynamics and offers wellness advice. Buchanan has been a featured wellness expert on Global’s The Morning Show since 2019.
Sandy and Nora Talk Politics, featuring Black Lives Matter Canada co-founder Sandy Hudson and writer and activist Nora Loreto, airs in the Saturday 4 p.m. ET time slot, promising to tackle social and political issues “with a blend of intellect, humour, and passion.”
“Bringing listeners thoughtful and entertaining content from trusted experts around every aspect of Canadian life is at the core of our Canadian programming,” said Michelle Mearns, Senior Vice President, Programming & Operation, in a SiriusXM Canada announcement. “This includes a wide range of views, voices and topics, including news, pop culture, health and lifestyle, music and more that matters to Canadians.”
The new shows join other recent programming additions, including comedy podcast Phone a Friend with Jessi Cruickshank and No Offense, But… with Tara Slone, which is airing on both Canada Talks and Poplandia (ch. 754). The Arlene Bynon Show has also moved to a new 10 a.m. – noon ET time slot on Canada Talks.
