Radioplayer unveils new app ecosystem

Radioplayer has unveiled a new app ecosystem, allowing users to listen seamlessly to radio and podcasts between devices, among other enhancements.

In addition to being able to switch between devices – including car dashboards, smartphones, and smart TVs – without interruption, the improved listening experience includes personalized recommendations based on listening habits; the ability to sync favourite stations across all devices; and voice control for in-car listening.

Radioplayer has also introduced an Integrated Data Platform, offering broadcasters access to real-time insights into listener behaviour, so they can tailor their content for maximum engagement.

“With this new app universe, we have built an experience that is not only seamless for users but also a notable change for broadcasters,” said OJ Torvmark, Head of Products, at Radioplayer. “By integrating our new Data Platform, we are providing broadcasters with the insights they need to keep their content relevant, personalised, and engaging for every listener, no matter where they are or what device they are using.”

The app improvements are being rolled out across all 23 Radioplayer markets in Europe and Canada, on behalf of more than 800 broadcasters.
