NAB Show stages its first-ever Sports Summit as part of next month’s show in Las Vegas, a three-day program exploring the rapidly growing intersection of sports, media and technology, featuring industry players like AWS, IMAX, NFL, WWE and Microsoft.
The summit is built around a speaker track tackling the future of sports content, production, rights, ad-supported streaming, and fan engagement, along with an immersive hub on the show floor that will showcase AI-powered transformation.
The event kicks off Sunday, April 6 with a keynote from Gotham Chopra, the co-founder of the L.A.-based Religion of Sports production studio, alongside Tom Brady and Michael Strahan, who’ll discuss the power of storytelling in shaping sports culture and audience connection.
Other panels include Tracy Perlman, SVP Player Operations, NFL; Super Bowl champion turned broadcaster Jason McCourty; and Sandy Nunez, Vice-President of On-Air Talent Management, NFL Network, who’ll discuss Engaging Audiences through On-Air Talent.
Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) CEO Portia Archer will also be featured in a fireside chat, discussing the rise of women’s tennis and the future of women’s sports, in addition to sessions with ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith, and WWE President Nick Khan on the future of sports entertainment.
Taking place in the West Hall, Sunday and Monday morning sessions will be accessible to all attendees with an Exhibits Pass, before moving to a conference setting for which a Premium Pass or All Access Pass will be required.
Additionally, the Sports Business Hub on the show floor will showcase the latest in sports tech, AI-powered content creation and next-gen fan engagement. In addition to interactive demos from Microsoft, AWS and NVIDIA will offer attendees an opportunity to experience the convergence of live esports racing and live cloud production in the West Hall lobby with their Simulator Challenge.
“From groundbreaking conversations with industry leaders to cutting-edge technology shaping fan engagement, the 2025 NAB Show is charting a course for how sports content is created, distributed and experienced,” said Karen Chupka, Executive Vice-President and Managing Director, NAB Global Connections and Events. “NAB Show is bringing together the best in the business to explore the opportunities driving the next era of sports media.”
