Jennifer Campbell, one-third of Mornings with Campbell, PJ and Billie on Country 106.7 (CIKZ-FM) Kitchener, has died after an eight-month battle with cancer.
Fierce. Strong. Full of fire. Jennifer Campbell. Our radio sister, our friend, our girl, has peacefully left us. Her memory will live on through songs on the radio forever. Those wishing to honour Jennifer may donate https://t.co/aQXFDEFVr0 to support her family. pic.twitter.com/K6MCH1QeVV

Julie Adam, SVP of TV & Broadcast, tweeted that the company “had lost one of the best,” while Campbell’s co-host Paul Johnson wrote “My soul is broken.”
“Heaven added a take no sh*t bad ass angel with a heart of gold today. This will hurt for a long time but I’m so thankful for the time we shared and the radio we made,” Johnson posted.
Campbell leaves behind her husband Scott and three boys, Ayson, Declan, and Gryffin.
Wendy Duff, National Content Director, Country, Rogers Sports & Media, who has organized a GoFundMe fundraiser for the family, called Campbell a “broadcaster who wore her heart on her sleeve and was never afraid of speaking her truth.”
Today we lost one of the best. @JennCampbell77 was a rebellious, optimistic, crazy talented firecracker with a heart of gold. I was lucky enough to be on her team. Jennifer you made us better and we love you and thank you for everything. ❤️🎙📻💔 https://t.co/A8cci3YRem

The @CityKitchener lost a great lady today. @JennCampbell77 was a strong, no BS kind of lady. A talented broadcaster, a fierce feminist & a loving partner & mom. Our hearts go out to her boys, family & colleagues. Jenn’s legacy will be our efforts to build a more just community! pic.twitter.com/jDqnu7gWBT

Quite simply I’m broken. Jenn was the very best. She taught me so much & I will carry her wisdom with me forever. She was more than my friend she was my mentor, my confidant & my guide. She was the best human I have had the pleasure to know. Thank you Jenny. I ❤️ you pic.twitter.com/F54Rg9iGS2

Jennifer Campbell was a firecracker radio sister, who I first met while I was working in Barrie, & she was in Midland, back in the mid to late 90’s. She overcame so many tough obstacles, and shone doing mornings at the KW country station. Today, she lost her battle with cancer.
