Durham Radio Inc is an independent radio broadcaster with stations in Oshawa, Hamilton, Caledonia, and Vancouver and more to come pending CRTC approval. We are committed to delivering exceptional results for our listeners, clients, and the community.
We have an opening on our Hamilton team for a full time Account Manager.
Job Description
Assume a list of existing clients, servicing and building on-going relationships with superior customer service.
Prospect and develop new business at both the direct retail business level and the advertising agency level.
Develop creative marketing ideas to build the accounts and increase the effectiveness of their campaigns using both radio and digital strategies.
Qualifications
A minimum of three to five years radio sales experience in a medium to large sized market. Applicant must have a good understanding of Numeris audience ratings. Also must be proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
Knowledge of the Greater Hamilton and Toronto area is a plus as is experience in dealing with media buyers and digital media sales.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Goal oriented, ambitious, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be a good negotiator with excellent communication and people skills.
