Deborah Gurofsky promoted in Media Pulse expansion

Deborah Gurofsky has been promoted to the role of SVP & Managing Director at Media Pulse, as Blue Ant Media continues to expand its connected TV (CTV) marketplace.

In her new role, Gurofsky will oversee Media Pulse operations, with expanded responsibilities for monetizing Blue Ant Media’s owned and operated CTV inventory worldwide, excluding direct platform sales. She’s also tasked with advancing the business’ growth and innovation, including creating and executing activations in the CTV media sector and via direct in-game advertising.

Gurofsky has been with the company since 2020, prior to Blue Ant’s acquisition of the company in 2022, previously holding the title of VP, Partnerships. Prior to Media Pulse, she held roles leading content partnerships with The Story Lab and was the Director of Strategy & Innovation at Toronto’s Cue Digital Media.

The company has also made two senior leadership hires, “signalling the business’ continued growth after a record-setting year.” Reporting to Gurofsky, CTV consultant Taylor Farmer has been named Director, Programmatic Revenue & Operations. Farmer formerly managed Digital Platform Partnerships for Paramount. Asha Chohan has been appointed Account Director. Based in Toronto, Chohan was previously an account executive with Corus Entertainment for 14 years, spanning Digital, Tempo and Broadcast Sales.
