Broadcast Dialogue – The Podcast: Inferno Pictures’ Ian Dimerman on Big Sky Studios & Manitoba’s film boom

Pre-Covid, Manitoba’s film and television industry was booming. Ian Dimerman of Inferno Pictures is hoping to get some of that momentum back with the opening of Big Sky Studios later this year – a full service production hub located on a nine-acre property that was formerly the headquarters of disgraced fashion mogul Peter Nygard.

Dimerman, who is in the midst of production on forthcoming CBC and BET+ series, The Porter, in Winnipeg, joined us to talk about what he terms “his love letter to the industry” which he hopes will cement Manitoba’s future as a production centre.
