Key Responsibilities
- Execute a highly topical, tight, engaging and fun afternoon drive show.
- Did we mention fun!?
- Deliver amazing customer service with staff, clients and listeners.
- Be everywhere! Public appearances, remotes, charitable and community events.
- Represent the station and the brand with integrity and fun.
- Voice track and fill in when required.
- Independently anticipate the needs of Management and the programming team.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and air checks.
- Voicing commercials.
- We should probably mention something about having fun.
- Build strong social media presence with target hitting compelling content.
- Other related duties as assigned by the Program Director.
Critical Qualifications
- Post secondary education in Radio Broadcasting.
- Minimum of 2 years on-air experience.
- Must understand and creatively connect with a mature but fun audience.
- Positive attitude and team player who enjoys stuff like having fun.
- Very strong work ethic, communication and writing skills.
- Creativity, innovation and the ability to multi-task.
- Experience with Wide Orbit Automation, MusicMaster and Adobe.
- Experience with programming music logs an asset.
- Must possess a full and unrestricted drivers’ license with a clean drivers abstract.
- Must enjoy hot summers, beaches, incredible views and the ability to do laundry without calling your mom.
Additional Requirements
Hour of work: Afternoon Drive show 2pm-7pm, Monday – Friday, 24/7 prep and planning plus remotes and appearances.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
