Morning Show Host

CoOL 94.5 is looking for our next engaging Morning Host! Playing Great Hits & Real Classics, we’re looking for someone who is passionate about the music from the 80’s & 90’s and can connect with our local audience On Air and all our platforms, (Phone, Text & Social). Job Overview:

CoOL 94.5 is looking for a dynamic morning show talent to host the show in Wingham. This will also include preparing content for the website, social media, and other digital platforms. If you feel like you have the skills and right attitude for the role, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare and deliver a daily, live morning show (Mon – Fri, 5:30am – 10am)
• Interact with listeners through social media, text, website, and email
• Create additional social media/web content (audio, written, video)
• Conduct interviews for use as website content, a portion of which may also be used on the morning show
• Voice commercial content with station producer as required daily
• Meet the needs of executing remote broadcasts as required, both within and outside of normal hours of work
• Be a strong brand ambassador through promotional appearances
• Voice track and other related duties as assigned by the Program Manager

Qualifications:

• Engage on–air and in person, and never be dull
• Building positive relationships with co-workers
• Knowledge of the computer programs required for the job such as iMediatouch, WideOrbit, Adobe Audition, WordPress, MusicMaster, and social media platforms
• Strong knowledge of the format and a willingness to grow in the market
• Valid G Driver’s Licence and clean driving record
