Ward-Beck Systems, the Toronto-based manufacturer of audio equipment for broadcasters and other audio professionals, celebrates its 50th anniversary this month. Through five decades of continuous operation, the company has made the transition from vacuum tubes to solid state devices, the digitization of analog signals and the shift to networked audio and video signals. Ward-Beck Systems Ltd. was first incorporated in April 1967.
