It’s International Podcast Day!
You can tune in to online presentations throughout the day exploring what’s happening in podcasting around the world. This year’s event features 26 speakers spanning 60 countries, including France, the UK, Zambia, Japan, Turkey, Latin America, and the Caribbean, among others.
Today’s presentations will culminate in a discussion at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET, hosted by Blubrry CEO Todd Cochrane, who will take a look at the last 16 years of podcasting with the “Podfather of Podcasting” Adam Curry. The former MTV VJ turned podcast host is the co-founder of podcast promotions company PodShow (now Mevio), along with the Podcast Delivery Network.
That will be followed by a livestream of the the 15th annual People’s Choice Podcast Awards, open to shows worldwide, at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET.
