CCMA unveils 2024 radio award nominees

The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) has unveiled nominees for the 2024 CCMA Awards, set to return to Edmonton in September.

In the Radio categories, up for Country Personality(ies) of the Year are:

  • Country 92.3 (CKBY-FM) Ottawa/Smiths Falls afternoon personality and Rogers Radio Country network host Wendy Boomer, seen here with her award for 2023 CCMA Country Personality of the Year.

  • CJJR-FM (Vancouver, BC)
  • CJKX-FM (Oshawa, ON)
  • CKKL-FM (Ottawa, ON)

Radio Station of the Year (Medium or Small Market) nominees include:

  • CFWC-FM (Brantford, ON)
  • CHCQ-FM (Belleville, ON)
  • CJGX-FM (Yorkton, SK)
  • CKGY-FM (Red Deer, AB)
  • CKXC-FM (Kingston, ON)

Up for Country Music Program or Special of the Year are:

  • Jess Moskaluke

Find the full list of nominees here. Returning to Edmonton for the first time in 10 years, hosted by Thomas Rhett and MacKenzie Porter, the awards will be broadcast live from Rogers Place on CTV on Saturday, Sept. 14.

Leading overall nominations with six each are Porter (Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year, Fans’ Choice, Female Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, Video of the Year), and  Jade Eagleson (Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year, Fans’ Choice, Male Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, Songwriter(s) of the Year).
