Bell Media has announced a streamlining of its executive team as Wade Oosterman assumed operational leadership of the division this week following the departure of President Randy Lennox.
Cosentino, who was responsible for all programming for CTV, CTV2, and CTV’s branded suite of channels, in addition to developing original programming, had been with CTV since 1999 and in various SVP roles since 2010. Pearce had been in executive roles with CTVglobemedia and Bell Media off and on since 2001, while Coe, MacLean and Henderson had also been with the company for roughly two decades. Goldstein joined CTVglobemedia in 2007.
“Bell Media’s updated structure is focused on making it easier to do business with us while also ensuring we’re ready to continue making the investments in content and delivery platforms necessary for Bell to remain Canada’s #1 in a fast-changing media marketplace,” Mark Choma, Bell’s Director of Communications, told Broadcast Dialogue in an emailed statement. “Our streamlined leadership team has resulted in promotions or expanded opportunities for many leaders as well as some departures. That said, our policy is not to discuss any individual employee matters.”
Bell Media’s new executive structure [which the company has so far declined to confirm] reportedly sees Karine Moses, upped from President, Bell Media Québec and Bell Vice Chair, Québec to SVP, Content Development & News, focused on both French and English-language content.
According to the same report, Dave Daigle, VP, Radio & Local TV, will take on MacLean’s duties at Bell Media Studios, while Justin Stockman, VP Brand Partnerships and Client Strategy, moves into the role of VP of Content & Programming for English-language television.
Suzane Landry will remain VP of Content Development and Programming for French television. Pat DiVittorio also remains in her current role as VP, Programming, CTV & Specialty.
