CBC has opened casting for Family Feud Canada, set to debut on the public broadcaster this fall.

Comedian Gerry Dee will host the new Canadian offering that will feature two families competing head-to-head by guessing the most popular answers to survey questions based on responses from a sample of Canadians.

CBC opened casting Monday, inviting families of five who are permanent Canadian residents to apply online by submitting a three to five minute video. All participants must be 18 or older as of Sept. 1, 2019. Successful families will be invited to audition for producers in-person in a nearby city.

Family Feud Canada will be taped in front of a studio audience at the Canadian Broadcasting Centre in Toronto. Applications, eligibility, and frequently asked questions can be found at cbc.ca/familyfeud.

Family Feud Canada is produced by Zone3, based on the Fremantle format, in association with CBC. Isabelle Roy and Jeffrey Wraight are serving as executive producers.
